Kim is currently studying Motion Graphics at Art Center College of Design, and has recently been listening to a lot of Johnny Cash. She is also watching Master of None, and would like to mention that she really likes Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman, Inside Amy Schumer, Broad City, Steven Universe and Gravity Falls.
She only started smoking two years ago, and took her first puff when she was 22. Her friends often ask her why she started so late considering most people would start at the age of 17 or 18, and she explained that she likened her first puff to an experience as memorable as her first fuck. It had to be perfect and it had to feel right.
‘sucking the smoke in the cold autumn air was almost as good as my first fuck.’
She finally had that moment two years ago at a friend’s house party, where she met some strangers that didn’t know a thing about her. They were about to head out for a smoke and asked her to join them. She was offered a stick, an American Spirit, but it ‘tasted nothing like American spirit.’ The first puff was painful for her, but after a few puffs, ‘sucking the smoke in the cold autumn air was almost as good as my first fuck.’
Kim doesn’t smoke much, and terms herself as a social smoker. She is still deciding what type of cigarettes she likes best, and she currently alternates between Lucky Strike, Next and Marlboro, but isn’t too picky about her cigarettes. She particularly likes the ‘pop’ that occurs when she bites on the filter and breaks the menthol ball, as she finds that there is something oddly satisfying about it.
